We only make black clothes. Every drop finds a new way to get there: a heavier cotton, a longer bath, a slower wash. Wear them long enough and they fade into a black nobody else has.
How a piece gets to nero
Every piece is dyed twice. After each stage we measure lightness, written L*, where 100 is white and 0 is black.

Knit
L* 84Raw cotton is knitted into loopback in Barcelos, Portugal.

First bath
L* 38The fabric sits in reactive dye at 60 °C for 90 minutes.

Garment dye
L* 12We sew first and dye again, so thread, rib and label all match.

Enzyme wash
L* 16A slow wash softens the hand and opens the black up a little.
